Interested in learning how to find work from home? Good, that’s what this website is all about!
I know from personal experience how hard it is to find comprehensive (and free) information about becoming a homeworker.
When I decided it was time to stop wishing I could work from home and, without any plan or preparation, started doing it (read I was so fed up with my job one day I just quit!), I was, quite frankly, very ill prepared.
I had writing experience but not online writing experience. I knew enough about the internet to know there were all sorts of virtual opportunities out there. . . I just didn’t know where! I Googled, I Yahooed and I Binged, and although I found a bit of information here, and a little information there, I couldn’t find the definitive resource that I could just bookmark and go back to for reference every time I needed it.
That’s how the freelancers’ resources that make up this website started. They are literally the curated lists I started compiling as I researched how to find work from home that I continue to add to today.
Work from Home Jobs
If you’re interested in becoming a homeworker, start with the generic topic Work from Home Jobs to find companies that hire telecommuters.
From here you will find pages to specific virtual job categories such as Data Entry Jobs along with a How to Guide to Data Entry Jobs.
Micro Jobs
If you are more interested in websites that pay you money to work part time that will pay you a “few” for different small online tasks, go to the Micro Jobs page.
Freelance Writing
If you are or want to be a writer and haven’t established a clientele yet, Websites that Pay is a curated list of websites that pay you to write for content brokers that hire both experienced and beginning writers.
How to Blog is a beginning guide to having a successful blog with links to resources that take you to the next level.
Those ready to start showcasing their writing but not ready to go the self-hosted site route yet should look at writing for one of the free Revenue Share Sitess and earning a share of the advertising revenue.
If you have a blog or website of any age, Review for Pay Sites will help you earn extra money reviewing the products of your choice on your blog.
If you already have writing experience and need leads to freelance writing jobs, the Job Boards for Writers andthe Write for Us pages will be of interest.

Outsourcing Marketplaces
Jobs for both writers and virtual workers are found in the marketplaces where outsourced jobs are bid upon
by contractors.
Free Tools
This, of course, is freelancers’ resource of links to free tools: free software, free training, free services, etc.
How to Find Work from Home Blog
The blog is where I store past work from home newsletters and my rants about homeworker and freelance writing issues
.
Since there are so many types of ways to earn money on-line, I am adding to the references and the categories as I go. In other words, this is, and probably always will be a work in progress — so, stay tuned for updates!
Signing up for my work from home newsletter will make sure you will be the first to know when I add new freelancers’ resources to new paying markets, free tools and articles of interest to those who work from home!
